TWO MEDIUMS. ONE STORY.

I love using film and digital together because each one brings something a little different to the story. Digital gives me the freedom to capture the day fully and consistently, while film adds a layer of texture, softness, unpredictability, and nostalgia that’s hard to replicate any other way. Together, they create a gallery that feels both complete and full of personality—clean, true-to-life moments mixed with frames that feel a little more raw, artful, and timeless.

THE ART

LIES IN

THE LIMITS

A slower way of seeing
the moment.

A roll of 35mm film gives you just 36 frames, and I think that’s part of what makes it so special. There’s no instant preview, no endless retakes, and no knowing exactly how the image will turn out until the film is developed. It asks for a little more patience, intention, and trust—and leaves room for the unexpected. The grain, the color, the movement, and even the imperfections are all part of what give film its character and make each frame feel completely one of a kind.

How film can fit into your day.

Film can be incorporated into your wedding day in whatever way feels right for you. Add a few rolls for select moments like getting ready, portraits, or the reception, or choose more extensive film coverage woven throughout the entire day. Whether it’s a small touch or a bigger part of your gallery, each roll adds another layer of texture, nostalgia, and personality to your story.

FAQ

How many photos are on a roll?

A standard roll of 35mm film holds 36 frames. Since every frame is intentional, each roll usually becomes a really thoughtful little collection of moments from your day.

Do I still receive digital photos?

Yes! Film can be added alongside your digital coverage, so you’ll still receive a full digital gallery in addition to the film images captured throughout the day.

Can my whole wedding be photographed on film?

Absolutely. I offer both mixed digital + film coverage and the option for more extensive film coverage depending on what you’re envisioning for your day.

When do film photos get delivered?

Film has to be professionally developed and scanned before I can deliver it, so it depends on the film lab- which could even come faster than your digital sneak peeks. Once everything is ready, your film images will be included with your final gallery.

Can I add film after booking?

Yes! Film can usually be added after booking as long as I have enough time to plan for it before your wedding day. You can add a few rolls or build in more extensive coverage depending on the look and experience you want.
